8 cm Adult chrysogenys: Smaller than Spectacled, slenderer bill, thin eyering, drooping splayed ear-patch. Juvenile: Smaller/no earpatch. VOICE Harsh tchick. HABITAT Broadleaved evergreen forest, secondary growth; up to 1,830 m. RANGE Fc/co R S Tenasserim, W(south),S Thailand, Pen Malaysia. FR (currently?) Singapore.
