15 cm Male ochromalus: Black head and breast-band, white collar. Female: Broken breast-band.Juvenile: Largely whitish throat, yellowish eyebrow, streaked breast. VOICE Frantic notes, starting slowly (downslurred), then accelerating. Lacks introductory note of Banded, ends abruptly. Has similar kyeeow and keowrr notes. HABITAT Broadleaved evergreen forest; up to 700 m. RANGE Fc/co R Tenasserim, W,S Thailand, Pen Malaysia.
