10 cm Adult sulphurea: Most likely to be confused with warblers
and female sunbirds. Rather short straight blackish bill, plain
greyish-brown above, pale yellow below, whitish lores and subterminal tail-spots. Darker cheeks/head-sides contrast sharply
with yellow throat.Juvenile: Narrow whitish eyering, plain
greyish-brown head-sides, slightly paler below, pinkish billbase. VOICE Song of up to 10 high musical, wheezy, glissading,
rising/descending whistles: zweee, zrriii and zriii’i’i’i’uu
etc. Call is musical rising chu-whee. HABITAT Mangroves,
coastal scrub, also inland in swamp forest, rubber plantations
etc., sometimes other types of forest, secondary growth, parks
